Lemon Garlic Marinade

Zesty, garlicky, citrusy marinade that's perfect for chicken, turkey or pork.

- ¼ cup Olive Oil Extra Virgin
- 1 Juice of one lemon
- 1 teaspoon Zest of lemon
- 3 teaspoon pressed or minced garlic about 3 medium cloves
- Salt + Pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Raw Honey optional but I recommend it!
In a liquid measuring cup, measure ¼ cup of olive oil. Add garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt and pepper and honey if using.
Mix well and use right away over chicken (or turkey or pork). I like to massage the marinade into the meat for a couple of minutes. Place meat & marinade back into the refrigerator and let marinade for at least one hour or up until overnight. You can also freeze meat with the marinade in freezer safe container.
